-
Forecast

Outlook
Outlook through Monday Mar 15: strong trade winds are producing stormy surf near the advisory size of 8 feet on eastern shores. Surf may drop below advisory Thursday when trade winds begin to weaken. A northwest swell will likely produce advisory size surf on the north shore by early Monday.
The surf will remain small along the south facing shores during the forecast period.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, in the zone of maximum refraction. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
