Surf Zone Forecast for Oahu
  • Hazards
HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES
  • Forecast
Surf along north facing shores will be 4 to 7 feet today, lowering tonight, then rising again to 5 to 7 feet Wednesday afternoon. Surf along west facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet occasionally 4 feet today through Wednesday. Surf along east facing shores will be 5 to 8 feet today through Wednesday. Surf along south facing shores will be 2 feet or less today through Tuesday.
  • Outlook
Outlook through Monday Mar 15: strong trade winds are producing stormy surf near the advisory size of 8 feet on eastern shores. Surf may drop below advisory Thursday when trade winds begin to weaken. A northwest swell will likely produce advisory size surf on the north shore by early Monday. The surf will remain small along the south facing shores during the forecast period. Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, in the zone of maximum refraction. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.

go !@#$ yourself at Kaisers
Kaisers. the ultimate surf spot. all the groms, all of them in their early teens, probably home schooled. sure the wave is awesome, you can get tubed, the reef makes for a quick and spectacular right, and a decent enough left. but if you look like you do not belong prepare to be told so. these kids can be brutal with their mouths and do not expect the one adult in the crowd to do anything but laugh and give you stink eye. they may even grab your leash a little while you are taking off. but hey if you think you got skills, then go for it. nothing makes a better comeback then good surfing
